Marie Henderson
Marie Henderson explores the intersection of connection, gender, and ecology. Her multi-disciplinary practice investigates the detrimental effects of patriarchal control on both women and the environment, seeking to restore balance through intuitive, process-led creation.Drawing on the concepts of Carl Jung and the resilience found in the natural world, Henderson’s work is an honest navigation of the path from trauma to recovery. Ultimately, her art stands as a record of transformation. By blurring the lines between the personal and the political, Henderson seeks to navigate the crucial themes of connection, balance, and resilience, aiming to spark conversation and create change through a lens of authenticity and optimism.
